# Troubleshooting

What the most common NextIT messages mean, such as the MCP server not being available for Superadmin accounts, and what to do about each one.

## Common messages

| What you see | What it means |
| --- | --- |
| The MCP server is not available for Superadmin accounts. | Sign in with a User, Admin or Auditor account. |
| Your role does not allow this action. | The tool exists, but your role does not cover it. Ask an Admin. |
| Write permission is required for this tool. | You approved read-only. Reconnect and approve both permissions. |
| The MCP server is disabled for your organization. | An Admin must switch your account type on under My Company → MCP & AI Agents. |
| The result was too large. | Ask for less: a filter, one record or a date range. |
| Nothing happens for a while, then a failure | Your assistant may be hitting the rate limit. Wait a minute and try again. |

Something else? Your administrator has the operations guide.
